Autumn in the Air
The September meeting of Crescent Bay Doll Fanciers was held at the home of club member Sandra Rogers. Sandra selectedAutumn in the Air as the theme for doll sharing at the meeting. Members brought dolls who reflected aspects of autumn whether through doll clothing colors, back-to-school, or activities associated with the autumn season. Catherine Cornelius shared a Madame Alexander Girl Scout doll as once school begins, so does scouting. Cynthia Davis shared a doll commemorative of her time in the Dominican Republic falling autumn leaves. Club President Patrice Jackson brought her lovely Barbie decked out and ready for Autumn in Paris. Stephanie Moore, club ember and newly elected Regional Director for UFDC 2S showcased Ms Unity signifying the autumn beginning of her duties as the Regional Director. Sandra shared school girl Ty’Waunshé in her first day of school outfit carrying her computer science coding book. Sandra has been in a book club for twenty-years and often for authors who visit the club dolls she has made reflective of characters in their books.
